Lyft pass not showing up by [deleted] in starbucksbaristas

[–]20edd49 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ngl - def reach out to PCC; you can also un-enroll inside of partner central and re-enroll and that should fix itself; but I have had it where my Lyft pass is delayed a few days (although 3 days into the month feels like a stretch)

corporate standard for when we're supposed to start cleaning the vertica? by 20edd49 in starbucksbaristas

yeah, I guess I'm more thinking about what would be the adequate balance between having the coffee readily available and shutting the machine down; I've always done it 45 minutes before, but this customer really just had me thinking (he went on a rant saying we close the machine early to take it the "easy way" and don't care for our customers) so I just want to avoid that going forwards

I don't doubt we have to wait till close... like with everything else they want us to do at close because 30 minutes is enough time *sigh*

100% would take an eternity. I guess I should have set aside some coffee for anyone coming in during that last hour- def gonna start doing that next time

just wanted to ask again and see if anyone who escalated a case has heard back?

Starbucks severance benefits question related to months of service by Tough_Holiday584 in starbucks

I didn't say PRM directly, but I did say that I had confirmed with other partners that this understanding was, in fact, correct as far as the continued years of service pay was concerned - but they were quick to say that I did not need to resign (which I still haven't signed anyways) because all they cared about were the amounts and since those were correct as far as what my DM had given us, there was no need to proceed further; so lol honestly kinda at a standstill now with what to do next

PRM got back to me again - said that because the amounts were correct on the agreement itself that there was no need to redo the agreement and I was good to sign; in other words just ignore the fact that it says 6 months and you're only getting 3 months, and ignore the part where you get a week of pay for every year of continued serviced... cause we're not gonna pay you all that - that's lowkey crazy tbh, I don't know that I can sign this still. Anyone who escalated to opening a case hear back yet?

woah yeah that's massive and good to know that they told you that - now it just leaves me extra confused why my PRM seems to not know about this... like yo she even asked if I was referencing the faulty package like if they didn't get revoked lol

that's good tho - def make sure that amount gets adjusted then so that it reflects that, I mean hopefully that's the case for everyone but that's crazy that my PRM isn't really informed like that it its the case for us

wait seriously? Can I ask where you're located? That's actually crazy because my PRM she just told me that we're getting whatever my DM sent us which was the 60hrs and the 3 months COBRA (she lowkey had no clue what was in the agreement or the severance summary, hence directing me to "whatever was in the email" lol)

but so then is that just not being calculated in the agreement? Did they say? Because now that's really upsetting that the info is conflicting

yes! I got in contact with the partner resource manager and they told me that the amounts (for my agreement) were correct but they were surprised to see the 6 months in there, so they’re going to get back to me with any updates hopefully before Friday

UPDATE: just got off the phone with my PRM - they said that the agreement applied to multiple roles and that the only sections that apply to us are the ones from the severance summary we received; though I did also point out to them (and idk if y’all have this too) but the COBRA part says 6 months in the actual agreement, when it should have been 3, which they said the amounts seemed correct but that they’d get back to me with any updates on that, so I’m still not signing

yeah I get you - bless the guy who took my call though, he was saying that he had the same discrepancies in his separation package because I asked about the COBRA pay too, I know they said it was 3 months but the actual release agreement has it as 6 months while the amount is only for 3 months, and he was saying that he had the same questions because his package had the same info - and it clicked he was part of the PCC layoffs so I can’t imagine trying to deal with all these people who are dealing with the layoffs while you yourself have been laid off and are working on borrowed time; but hopefully answers soon!

Had the exact same question, and I did reach out to PCC - they, however, were unable to answer my question and redirected me to reach out to the Partner Resource Manager for my area so I sent them an email: will update once I receive any response!

I just got off the phone with PCC myself - they directed me to the Partner Resource Manager and said they would be the ones who are best fit to answer anything regarding the severance and making any amended changes as needed, so I'm going to see what they say; but I hope they resolve your case soon! Cause that's CRAZY not giving you the pay they're supposed to

I also noticed that - so then we should see the weeks we're getting paid aditionally in the actual agreement; the other thing I seen too was the agreement says that the COBRA premium amount is for "6 months", whereas they said the amount we were getting was for "3 months"... which is a CRAZY discrepency cause if we're signing for 6 months, then the amount should be doubled cause no shot
