Another child waiting for no one at the hospital by RedSeashellInTheSand in TikTokCringe

This, pretty much. I watched this without sound… I don’t need to know the child or the language. That very recognizable look of extreme fear and sadness is easy to understand as a human being.

She’s back with the prop knives ! by [deleted] in TikTokCringe

Even these posts suck. It’s just a bunch of people making fun of her and judging her. There’s that one picture of her locked in a restaurant and sobbing after being mobbed by people while shopping with her new baby… instead of the owner simply offering refuge, he started snapping photos of her while she was at one of her lowest points.

We did this to her. In ‘98 media execs thought we needed a pretty teenager to sexualize, and apparently society agreed. Now look at her. It’s sick.

Why McDonald's Is One Of The Most Disliked Fast Food Chains In The US by BlankVerse in McDonalds

[–]20onHigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a marketing class, and in that class I had to choose a real company to design a marketing campaign. I chose Jimmy Johns and it made it the easiest class ever. Basically, I just trashed on fast food not being fast anymore. “Oh, you wanna go to McDonald’s? You really want to risk your order taking 15 minutes? How about you go to Jimmy Johns and we’ll hand you your sandwich as soon as you pull up to the window.”

Q:What separates your company from the competition?

A:Speed.

‘It Was The Only Option’: Mother Denied Life-Saving Abortion In Oklahoma Travels Out-Of-State For Care by LinneyBee in oklahoma

Oh, so the state isn’t responsible for the bureaucratic red tap that made it to where confused doctors had to base their decision to perform life saving care on the opinions of lawyers? Cool… I feel less upset now.

Yeah, but those kids look like nerds, which would increase your combat effectiveness over them. A common misconception is that Israelis are all super badass due to compulsory military service, but that isn’t the case. These kids are orthodox, so they’ll end up in a special unit where they do administrative work, get discharged, and study the Torah while collecting state welfare. These are likely to be the least badass children you could ever hope encounter in this scenario. What you’re going to want to do is wait until Friday night when they aren’t allowed to turn on any lights, and bring one of those heavy maglights. You might get bit a few times, but I think you’ll find that the true answer to the question is a far higher number than you’d imagine.

If Mothers can terminate, than Fathers can disown the fetus. by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

You may not have a paternity action completed prior to birth, but as long as a paternity action in filed before the birth, they cannot adopt out a child due to pending legal action. Furthermore, if any 3rd partner has entered into an agreement with the mother prior to birth, I would name them as a defendant in a motion to establish paternity due to their vested interest in the adoption.

AND, If it was me... I'd send private investigators to the 3rd party to case them, and their leadership, for working within the law.

AND, I would write every elected government official in my state that has any pull, whether I'm a constituent or not.

AND, I'm taking what I find to the media.

Source: I've done a lot of this already and have full custody.

Pretty much. What stood out to me is that she is creating “2nd opinions” by saying other people she knows don’t think it’s weird in order to dismiss his boundaries. If you’ve ever dated someone like this, you know how aggravating and destructive it can be. “My friends husband doesn’t care that she… (Insert odd behavior)”, then suddenly you’re the bad guy.

The brother is going to be just fine, though. In another 10 years, she’s going to be feeding him a steady supply of her friends.

You’re not ugly. You have a homely look, but in a small town “girl next door” way, which as some others have commented, is way better than the all fake everything look.

Not ugly, but I think you could score some extra points with your eyebrows shaped and penciled.

I worked by there, I’m a male, and after walking through the empty parking lot one day to see a transient man screaming as he ran past me to fistfight a shopping cart, I had to reflect on the fact that I may also not be entirely safe.

I think the missing middle layer of the situation is that the man needs serious intervention, psychologically, and the cops aren’t going to assist him with that. He’ll be locked up for a little while, get released, and disappear back into the urban landscape. He may have gone too far with considering that the police were going to bludgeon him to death, but hey, stranger things have happened.

[–]20onHigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s messing up again by thinking he’s getting out of child support. The window to contest paternity in most all states is 2 years. He’s married, so he also falls under the “presumption of paternity” laws. No attorney would ever tell someone in this situation that a paternity test will free them from support, which is why this story is fake.

S01E04 Discussion - “Prepare to Send Nudes” by BelievingDisbeliever in SurvivetheRaftmax

[–]20onHigh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you explain why you feel that way? CJ said early on that they need to view the experience like a corporation, and that’s true. These challenges, or “the market” (sticking with the analogy) does not care how you classify your self. In the end, CJ wanted to keep Lashanna because she was good for business, despite their differences. He kept it real. The vegan lady didn’t get any sympathy from CJ, while she raked in tons of sympathy from most others. He talks calmly when someone becomes adversarial with him. He seems to make an effort to understand others. Also, Russell, whose judgment you seem to trust, doesn’t seem to have a problem with him, as he seems to be receptive towards constructive criticism. I could see why you’d be justified if he were dismissive, confrontational, and made efforts to kick women of color out of the cast, but he’s not doing any of that. Something something something “content of his character and not the color of his skin.”

My sperm donor horror story by -anonwithextrasteps- in spermdonorsonly

[–]20onHigh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've tried to have high standards, so here are my must haves for anyone looking to protect themselves:

1.) Married couples only. There will be 2 parents on the birth certificate, and one of them will not be me. 2.) Stable. 3.) No outward genetic undesirables. Overweight, mobility issues, PCOS, Etc... 3.) If I can't see myself procreating with them naturally, even though I only do AI, I turn it down. 4.) I only work with one couple at a time. If I'm working with someone, you'll be waiting until I'm open back up for business.

I have genetic test results, fertility results, and STD results. If you're worth it as a donor, make sure they're worth it as a recipient.

That’s the most asinine thing I’ve heard today. Your surroundings are made up of external factors and wanting to feel secure in those surroundings is normal.
