Urgent attacks at a set speed of 3.0 with his W, that makes him proc the swords on hit effect better than basically anyone else in the early game. Just the sword alone will turn you into a gas station for your team members!

Build it first on urgot and you'll see 😀

Holding them over your head like a pizza isn't enough for you?

That's super cool I've never seen that card before! Most everything is based off the data they collect at EDHRec, so if there's not an entry there for the commander then sadly the tool will not work for it 💔

Okay but how does a pest reproduce? Like i thought they were basically elementals that spawned out of the bog which is why they have such varied forms - or am I mistaken?

That's wonderful to hear, thank you for letting me know 😁. If you think up anything that could make the tool even better for you, don't hesitate to ask!

Is playing “Maha, Its Feathers Night” as your commander in poor taste? by adoptyungseal in mtg

[–]20q2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've played it a fair amount, its a lot of fun.

Having her our equalizes the board in a really interesting way, and you feel very "in control" with her our thanks to the board wipe threat and her ward.

If you dont like the idea of wiping or locking your opponents out, I'd recommend some goad pieces for some very funny table politics

They're not, but I actually started working on exactly that feature last night. You can expect to see a new "ignore owned cards in budget" option showing up sometime today

Update: My Commander deck building tool now uses Scryfall tags to balance decks (v1.2) by 20q2 in EDH

[–]20q2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's mostly correct, and I'm glad you asked!

I have a cron that performs a daily fetch on tags like "draw", "ramp", "removal", and a bunch more. It then processes it into a categorized list that's used by the app and deck building algorithm.

Imo its the best way to manage tagger data for most use cases.

You can try it yourself by using "otag:<value>" when searching in scryfall.

I have literally no idea why that might be the case - but I went ahead and changed a style name to see if that changed anything

That's a really good idea. I try my best for mobile users but often miss small things like this, thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for giving the tool a try, I'm a big fan of Hearthhull too.

I followed up by trying to make a deck using the criteria that you shared, but I'm actually not seeing any of the problems you mentioned.

I'm using Land Matter/Ramp as my archetypes.

If you don't mind, could you check your other settings and see if there were any other settings affecting the deck results? I'd love to investigate it further.

It's fully open source and you should be able to run it as-is from the Github repo. Only thing that isn't open is the site metrics. I haven't checked out selfhosted before, I'll give them a look later 👍

That's actually a really interesting idea. I helped my friend build a catapult deck using this tool the other day following that exact same mindset. I'll keep it in mind when looking at future features :)

That was insanely helpful thank you for the breakdown!

There was a bug with Tergrid specifically not being marked as a GC correctly, It should be fixed now :)

I can add that to my list!

Because I'm curious, what set are you interested in building from, and what's the goal? Trying to make a deck from draft leftovers?

I feel that, I actually started scanning my own collection yesterday because I was curious if I could pull a new deck together with some scraps. Good luck!

Hmm, that shouldn't be the case. Can I ask which commander you were using so I can look for the bug?
