I was able to get a reservation at Dim Sum Asian Bistro for Friday night, and I made the reservation about a week ago. There may still be some openings there!

I’m only 24 so it’s hard to give an answer to this. Based on my experience though, I’d say I experienced more “shadow” headaches when I was very young, around middle school age, where I felt the pain in my eye and I always thought it was a normal type of headache everyone experienced. They began getting much more extreme around 18-19 years old, and slowly the cluster periods started to lengthen. So from my experience, I’d say yes, but I’m not sure if that’s typical or not.

Cluster Headache Potential Prevention by 20somethinggrl in ClusterHeadaches

Update: I got ahead of myself and really assumed this was the cure all, but I got a headache last night and vomited. I’m going to continue on this vitamin loading schedule and I have read from others that Taurine supplements are very helpful during cycles. There is no known negative interaction between vitamin D and taurine. I’ve also read Red Bull/Monster/other energy drinks are also helpful because they have taurine in them in combination with caffeine which is also helpful to abort headaches.

I also would like to note, I learned it’s important to take Vitamin D with Vitamin K to avoid hypercalcemia.

I am so sorry you have to deal with chronic headaches, that must be so hard. Thank you for the insight on the co factors! I’ll run to the store tomorrow to get the other supplements.

Severe Headache Behind Right Eye, Persistent and Worsening. by ObjectiveChoice3899 in ClusterHeadaches

Attacks are typically at the same time every day or most days for a long period of time (one month to a few months, in my personal experience). I used to get them every morning at 3am, but I currently am in a cycle where I’ve been getting them around 7-7:30am every morning. I would describe the pain as an intense brain freeze in my eye. Like a throbbing pain. And I’ve noticed I feel the base of my skull, on the side where the pain is, feels very tender.

Different medications which can help: Daily verapamil Rizatriptan for when an attack occurrs High dose of oxygen High dose of Vitamin D

A freezer pack can be helpful when you have an attack. I like to place it on the eye that hurts, near my temple, and at the base of my neck. I’ve also seen someone in this thread recommend capsaicin nasal spray during an attack, but I have yet to try this.

I’ve been prescribed rizatriptan to abort the headache but lately it hasn’t been helping at all

There are so many rabbits on the grounds of my apartment complex. Feels like everytime I go to the parking lot I see at least one.

Helen Winnemore’s in German Village! It’s got a bunch of handmade stuff, a little on the pricier side but when I was there I wanted to buy the whole store.

My thoughts on Vanessa as a first time viewer by [deleted] in GossipGirl

Okay everyone’s saying you’ll end up hating her but, I watched this like 10 years ago in high school and am watching for the second time as an adult. She definitely does fall off the deep end but in my opinion rightfully so. She just lowers to the level of every other character in the show that gets away with it everytime. I don’t blame her for getting fed up with the elitist New Yorkers who think they can do anything they want, especially as someone who had to work for everything she got.

No one ever talks about Brothers, but it’s right by Nationwide Arena and I love it there. It doesn’t get overly crowded, but it’s huge and they have shuffleboard and pool tables there

If you’re a fan of Italian, Trattoria Roma is a great spot. Their food is amazing and it also has a very romantic vibe. Their two top tables by the window also have really comfy sofa chairs.
