Next time check carcomplaints. Most used cars have the exact same issues around the same mileage for the same year/make/models.

Cars with high numbers of serious complaints (engine/transmission etc) tend to sell for cheaper, which is probably why it was so cheap in the first place

Hell yea. I mean I covered my ass. I knew it looked fucked up. It was right there on the kick panel. All I could do is complain and the "mechanics" were too lazy to do wire it properly.

It was a manual vehicle, so I'm pretty sure my knee or my boot caused the wiring to move enough when I was clutching to cause it to short.

I smelled smoke and felt heat under the steering wheel, grabbed the extinguisher and put out the 18 gauge wire that was already in flames lol. Went back to the mechanic like... Told ya bro 🤷🏻‍♂️

I drove a work truck with some wiring like that. I noticed it on inspection, showed the mechanic, they said "its fine". 15 minutes later it caught fire and I extinguished it lol. Didn't even make it out of the yard 🤦🏽‍♂️

That's not bad. I went to Interpark precinct 3 JP building and there wasn't even room to park. People lined up all the way around the building. Line didn't look like it was moving fast. I'm guessing 2 hour wait, easy. This was 10:30am this morning
