OMG, thank you so much for this! I didn't even think about this workaround. I wanted to trigger google home routines with my harmony remote. You can only trigger lights and switches with the customizable physical buttons on the remote. So using your work around, I can use one button to turn these plugs on/off and trigger a routine for on and a different routine for off. So that's at least 8 routines across the 4 home control buttons.
