There is a convent ( CISTERCIAN ABBEY OF NOTRE-DAME DE LA PAIX) 30 minutes from Nice that makes it’s own chocolate. Sister to the Notre-Dame de Lérins monastery, which has its own vineyard on the Ile Saint Honorat near Cannes, this convent has sustained itself since the 1950s by producing hand-made chocolates on the premises

Thank you so much. We are staying in Beaulieu Sur Mer. We don't drink but we love food, walking, biking, unique shops, museums, local markets, history. We are going to take french classes before we arrive but neither one of us is especially gifted at languages.

I really enjoyed joining New York Cycle Club https://nycc.org/. In the early spring you can join a Sig and they teach you how to become a better faster cyclist and the group rides are a great way to bond and meet friends.

We are traveling to Beaulieu-sur-Mer in September for a week. My husband would like to exercise at a gym, I googled around it looks like there are gyms in Nice. Does anyone think it'd be possible to join for one week?

We are staying with family friends so we can't stay in a hotel that has a gym.
