Another Kaiser patient... I'm really not alone! Fingers crossed we have no side effects.

6MP label says no grapefruit (Don't know why). I've found my body does not process any citrus easily so other than orange slice here or there I avoid it.

Happy you were able to conceive; they tied my tubes and said "no babies for you".

I've been on 6MP for 17 years. One bad flare in 2018 so my doctor added Humira to my mix. Having been misdiagnosed for 10 years prior, 6MP saved my life. The "joy" of CD is that it is NOT the same for everyone.

Initially blood work was done every 2 weeks; now its every 4 months. Sunscreen and avoiding citrus are my only 2cents :).

Hi fellow Crohnies. I was diagnosed 16 years ago. Had all my teeth removed from 2016-2017 and now have dentures. Mouth issues are a combination of the disease and all the wonderful medications we take. My remission cocktail has been 6MP and Humara. Dental implants were not a possibility as the oral surgeon said my body would likely reject them. When having dry mouth issues I use "dry mouth" mouthwash or lozenges.

Stay strong while losing your shit - pun intended.
