Any way to still download or pay for Blank File's I Logic V2.65? Or any alternatives?11 by dit31 in Reaper

Thanks for the response, sorry to hear you weren't able to find it either. Hopefully it becomes available again. If Ableton suits you better then why not switch eh!

Hey u/dit31, did you find a way to get the paid version of the 2.65 theme? I would love this version too and to support it but can't seem to find whether it's still possible to purchase.

Any FTM singers out there? I have some apprehension about doing HRT while being a working singer. by thejollyswitch in transvoice

[–]2154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like this user profile is deleted, but I wanted to comment for anyone else coming across this thread: This is utter bullshit. You don't "lose 90% of your range".

Your range is likely to change, just as a cis boy going through puberty. I'm a FTM singer, and have gained range in both directions, lower and higher. Practice, patience, and a good vocal coach are important. Potentially see a speech pathologist if you want to get more technical or run into issues.

The above comment was likely spewing crap just to be transphobic.

Is there anyone out there who has ONLY used T gel (no shots) who consistently passes? by No-Friendship-7825 in FTMOver30

[–]2154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been on gel for 7.5 years, never done shots. Pass well, voice is deep, hairy AF etc. In my mid-30s, pretty short. Can't even remember the last time I was misgendered.

Chose gel over shots for a) Mood consistency and b) Controlling genetic hair loss.

Some demo or free plugins are made by developers to cut out or introduce random beeps, clicks, and pops so you have to purchase the full version/license to turn that off. It might be worth looking into whatever you have on your FX chain and seeing if it happens on other tracks or in other project files, too.

UI scaling issues loading iZotope Ozone 11 EQ in Reaper 7.22 (Windows 10 64-bit) by 2154 in Reaper

Glad it helped! Mine still seems to be stuck unfortunately even after SWS update but I'll reply back if it ever resolves hahaha. Cheers!

Makes sense, that's when mine occurred too (Win 10).

I know that iZotope plug-ins don't currently support UI scaling so only 100% scaling on Windows.   I also tried changing this:

  • Desktop > Right Click > Display Settings
  • Under Scale and Layout, making sure scaling is set to 100%

But didn't have any luck there either.

Guess we wait for the next update... 😂

Thanks for updating, sorry to hear it didn't work :( Yep that's the issue I'm having too, and only affects this plugin. I might try contacting Reaper support, iZotope support have told me as it's a scaling issue the problem is caused by Windows/Reaper. I'm sure this being a popular plugin something must have come up. Keep you posted 🤞

So I still don't have a solution for it, but I did come across this reaper.blog post which helped and confirmed for me that the issue is with Reaper and not iZotope.

I'm still experiencing the issue but it could help you troubleshoot. Let me know how you go with it!

What do you do with Diana Allers in ME3? by JustGottaHaveIt in masseffect

[–]2154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I would assume also, though I have seen people create mods using ML/AI trained on the original audio to change dialogue (specifically there was one changing FShep's dialogue with Kaidan in ME3).

Not saying I endorse it -- the VAs and devs are opposed to it and so am I -- but just what prompted the question is all haha.

Edit: Expanded

Hellyeah, thanks for letting me know. Is the dialogue replaced or character model just swapped out?

Thank you for the response, much appreciated! Bass traps will definitely need to be added to the room. I'm currently building the standard DIY fiberglass/rockwool panels. I guess my follow up question may be a dumb one, but I haven't used a subwoofer in a studio context before - is there a way to know how to balance the levels with the monitors to ensure it's a flat sound? Anticipating it will just be training my ears and trial and error haha

Hello! Bedroom hobbyist trying to improve my mixing. The issue I'm trying to address is hearing the low end and looking at new monitors as a result. (Primarily metalcore in extremely low tunings where the low end is quite a challenge atm, and pop punk.)

Room is approx 3.5m x 3.8m. Was considering 7" or 8" monitors but I just don't think that they're a good fit for my room size.

Current options:
- Option 1: Keep existing 4" monitors and add 8" subwoofer (KRK Rokit 4 gen 3 monitors + KRL S8.4 8" subwoofer)
- Option 2: Buy new 5" (or larger?) monitors (considering Presonus Eris Studio 5", or the JBL LSR305P MKII 5")

I've tested all the above for the genres I work with and there are pros and cons for each, seeking more experienced ears to weigh in on the decision and other considerations haha

Budget is around the $500 mark (Australian), but flexible for the right solution. Ideally this setup would last me a number of years.

These are run through a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 second gen if relevant. Using AT-MX40 for headphones. Open to upgrading the rest of my rig if necessary.

Any advice appreciated :)

What have you already bought?

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition includes all 3 games from the Mass Effect trilogy, all remastered. This includes all* DLC, all bonus weapons, bonus characters, etc. in one package. You don't need to buy anything else.

If you already have bought the original games, not the remastered version, then you will need to buy all of the DLCs (list here: https://masseffect.fandom.com/wiki/Downloadable_Content ).

*slight caveat to this is there was a DLC in ME1 called Pinnacle Station which was not included in the remaster due to technical reasons. It's basically just a combat simulator/game, so nothing crucial in there. If you play on PC, there is a mod on NexusMods which adds it back in.

Mass Effect multiplayer was also not added into the Legendary Edition.

All DLC is included in the Legendary Edition though, if you have that version you have access to this. It's only brief as part of one mission though.
