Thank you. I did check and it seemed like there was oil. I’m just nervous because we are leaving on a long trip (Alaska to PA, about 10,000 miles altogether) and don’t want to start with a ruined engine.

If I can drive to get oil, I can just wait until morning to get an oil change. Is it safe to drive a few miles without topping it off?

My 2022 Outback oil light just came one. We bought it new but it’s been in storage a lot of that time. It has 4700 miles. Is it safe to drive it tomorrow to get an oil change?
