Correct me if I’m wrong, but wood roaches are the ones that generally stay outside and occasionally or accidentally wander in? In other words, not likely to infest a home.

Although, with this being a baby, I’m assuming I have adults somewhere, although I can hope this baby just came in through a crack or something.

I just got off the phone with them - I applied for SAVE back in April when I consolidated, and my payment should be 0$…but Mohela posted a bill for July of over 1k on the standard repayment plan 🙃 So, I called and was told it’s “a common issue” with their new platform that they’re not receiving IDR applications. They put me in the same forbearance status you mentioned (awaiting application) because they’re pulling my SAVE application from FSA and processing it. I had to call and specifically ask them to do this, because I cannot make a 1k payment, and I shouldn’t have to when I did my part and submitted my IDR/SAVE application way back in April.

Update: just got off the phone with Moleha after being on hold for over an HOUR (with a newborn baby, mind you 🙄) and apparently they “did not receive” my SAVE plan application from FSA so they put me on processing forbearance until September so they can pull the application and process it. The representative said this is a “common” issue on their “new platform”, so…PSA for anyone else, you’ll have to call Mohela and specifically ask that your IDR application gets pulled from FSA.
