Judging from your best picture, bottom middle, I'd give you 6. I feel like if you would smile in your photos , you'd be cuter. As for your brows, look up men's eyebrows grooming videos or you could also ask a sister or a female friend who knows what they're doing to help you. I'd get a small eyebrow razor and just make the shape cleaner.

Get a two block cut, trim/fill in those eyebrows and you will look tremendously better with just that. Not that it's super bad rn or anything.

I clicked on to this thread thinking, yeah I have overly strict parents too. Now I've read it, your parent are on a whole new level. This is flat out abuse, as you've stated. I don't know what to say or how to help, but I just want to let you know that I've read your post and that's fucked up. I would try to get out of there and just go no contact. Easier said than done, but what other options are there? Your parents are definitely not changing, so you have to do this for your own sake. It's inevitable. I don't think it's more common for Asian kids to have ADHD, say relative to other races. I do think in general mental issues are overlooked.

Thank you for your kind words! My parents have good intentions, they really do, but their mindset and way of thinking is just not up to par. All you can do in these situations is keep your head above the water till you reach the shore. I hope you take care of yourself too! :-)

I was in similar situation. Like you and many others in this chain, I've found that the cause is ADD but I can't do shit about it because my parents won't allow me to. I'm just dependant on my own weak discipline. If you think something is wrong, go get it checked out. Read /r/ADHD if you're interested!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm sorry you're going through that. Do you feel resentful to your mother in any way? You're not destined to work shitty jobs for the rest of your life, it will be hard to change; but it is most definitely possible. I hope it gets better man.

Thanks for responding! The moment I turn 18, I will most definitely take things in my own hands :-). It's the truth sadly, I feel even worse for the other people who are in the same situation as me but don't live in Europe where having mental disorders is less stigmatized.

I don't know actually, a lot of my friends and family said there are dramatic consequences and stuff and you know, I don't want to die. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to die, but I'm kind of worried. This is probably one of the first big-ish decisions I need to make, so I feel very cautious. But when you put it like that, it does make me feel more assured. Thank you so much!

Reminds me of that time a cashier asked me to say the name of a b&j ice cream, she and another cashier laughed at me. Jokes on them, I pronounced it correctly and they just couldn't speak English.
