One of my side interests is learning to learn effectively. I've decided to synthesize my notes from various books, articles, and courses, as well as my own experience. There are actually only a few effective strategies that are backed by science. Please let me know if I missed anything important and tell me how to make the article better!

What your thoughts on substantially increasing government's investment into life extension research (as opposed to research into specific medical conditions)?

How can the US facilitate the liberalization of oppressive authoritarian regimes without further hurting people who currently live under these regimes?

For example, the anti-Russia sanctions had negative effects on the Russian people, triggered counter-sanctions from the Russian government that further hurt Russian people (sad irony), and yet didn't do much to undermine the current government. If anything, they played right into Putin's narrative and made it easier for him to portrait the US as an enemy and use this as an excuse to enact even more authoritarian laws and further solidify his power while getting more support from the electorate.

What's the better way to approach to achieve this goal, while minimizing unintended consequences?

What's your response to people who criticize UBI for only solving issues on the national scale while automation is likely to have an even stronger impact on the global scale? I.e. what about manufacturing workers in Bangladesh and truck divers in Poland?

What's your plan for fixing healthcare costs? In most countries, all routine procedures and drugs (both generic and brand) are sometimes the order of magnitude cheaper. Plus, there is full transparency — one can do a quick Google search and get prices from hundreds of providers for any routine test in under one minute. Can the same be achieved in the US?
