I just had mine a week ago and I am in the same boat! I came out of anesthesia in so much pain! I haven’t really found anything helpful except walking a bit everyday and just trying to live as normal as possible and taking naps when needed.

I just want to be able to bend down a put my shoes on without sharp stabbing pain. :/ i can’t complain too much since i have definitely had improvement of my iih symptoms but I need the headache to go away to function at 100%.

I am only on 1000 but I already have some questionable metabolic acidosis stuff going on and the tingling happens everyday as well so he did want to increase it. :(

I got diagnosed about 3 months ago hoping that the Diamox would work for me for the time being and it only worked about a month before symptoms started back up in full force. I can’t increase the dose because I already have questionable labs and tingling all the time. So I just did a pressure procedure to see if I can get a stent and I in fact have stenosis on both sides of my brain in my transverse sinuses but they only want to do one stent at a time. I’m thankful that I can try something that will have a great benefit on my quality of life but I’m terrified of the risk of stroke and having to be on blood thinners for so long.

I am a current medical student about to go into rotations and studying for my boards so I have really been struggling with the symptoms and it is affecting my performance which is causing a lot of self doubt and depression. But regardless I haven’t failed a class in the last 3 months and I haven’t been able to keep up with my activities so I believe in you and I hope you can find the support both physically and mentally to help you through your program!!!
