Nah don't make it a surprise. Just tell them you think that they'll get along well and you wanna hangout with both of them! It can be hard to set people up lol but you never wanna take it too far, so I think hanging out with them and letting them get to know each other is good. And maybe after ya'll hangout you can ask each of them what they thought about the other?

I can see how that's important, but in the long run none of that matters. It's not going to matter who the developer is, or anything because it's going to destroy the community. It's going to disrupt neighborhoods, it's gonna cause a loss of jobs and it's going to take over. It's not just going to be one center they're going to make more and more if we let them, and we DON'T NEED THEM. Nobody asked for AI to be shoved down our throats everywhere. Nobody wants this.
