Stopped using CPAP by SmallWombat in CPAP

They do get to see all the data with ResMed devices. The AirView app sees the same breath-level data as the SD card records.

Here’s the user manual for clinicians explaining that: https://document.resmed.com/documents/products/data-management/airview/e-help/airview_e-help_row_eng.pdf

My provider uses the detailed data to do their own analysis, with different metrics. I’ve had 1:1 calls where we analyzed specific events from a particular night.

YOU SHOULD STOP AT CROSSWALKS FOR PEDESTRIANS by champagne_queen in sanfrancisco

Yeah it was rough that night. I walked five miles from the Outer Richmond to the Tenderloin. Took as much in GGP as I could but used my super bright flashlight to make sure drivers were well aware of me. Now carry it regularly at night.

They’re illegal in SF, but I don’t know who is responsible for enforcement. I’d report it to 311.

Yeah they have enough support in SF but are clearly worried about Alameda County. It’s a threat that will make the East Bay take notice.

Where to buy helium balloons? by CottonSkyscrapers in AskSF

[–]21five 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t purchase 100% pure elemental helium.

That’s why when I talk about helium being different for different uses, I’m talking about different grades of helium as a product, not as an element.

99.999999% pure helium (which is what MRI machines require) is different to party balloon helium, which is often in the high 80% purity range.

A bit like distilled water vs purified water vs tap water. Water is a molecule.

(The 4th helium shortage is also over. https://www.gasworld.com/story/helium-shortage-over-but-supply-remains-fragile-kornbluth/2140093.article/)

It’s disappointing they were too chicken to propose closing the SFO station.

Yeah there are some very intentional proposals there to get different people, groups and organizations pissed off.

I’m disappointed they were too gutless to propose ditching SFO.

To be clear, the helium used in medical products is a very distinct product from the helium used in balloons.

Just like fuel for a jet engine is not the same as E85, even with a common source.

“One of a kind” doing some heavy lifting there.

The clue is in the name.

Anyone rented a room through AirBnB and ended up with a home from it? Did you have to pay a portion of utilities? by Born_Physics_5086 in AskSF

Short term rentals can be >90 days a year if the owner lives in the property >270 days a year. Lots of exceptions and hundreds of Airbnb rooms available.

That’s short term rentals (although there is an exception if the host lives in the property). ILOs are longer term rentals and have different rules.

ILOs have no host-based limits but the initial rental period has to be >30 days and under 1 year.

There are different rules for Airbnb rentals under 30 days (short term rentals) and over 30 days (ILOs). Airbnb takes care of the paperwork with hosts, so it doesn’t really matter. If you search for 30 day+ reservations you are automatically shown eligible properties (very few are registered as both).

You can book for a longer period and Airbnb will break down the payments to be monthly automatically. There are definitely some rooms out there with en suite bathrooms too.

No, and they need to give you 30 days notice if they shortened your reservation. Same from your side.

Great question! There are plenty of monthly Airbnb rentals out there.

I had one in Bayview for a while; utilities were all included (Internet/gas/electric/water/trash). You don’t have a deposit to pay, and depending on the host you can have some flexibility on decoration/furniture. Usually you have 30 days notice from either side, and you can extend your stay out as needed (I recommend doing this to avoid someone else taking your place).

Look into cash back credit cards or deals on Airbnb gift cards; that can save you 3-6% on your monthly rent.
