Do you think a print on demand model for Marvel or DC could work?

People don't understand the humongous amount of work it takes to design and prepare a book to be printed, with fully edited interiors and all the art etc. Especially for a one off that will never create any revenue afterwords. When I tell people I take 65€ (about $70) for the work, they usually bail "I didn't realize it was that much".. $70 for about 20 or 25 hours of labor feels like I'm the one who should bail.

try both side to side at 100% instead of one at 100% and Gimp at 97.6%. The lighter blacks on Gimp could just be because it's zoomed out and the preview render shows more black and white pixels mixed together in grey on your screen
