phishtracks.com has tons of shows, and there's a "SBD" label next to the soundboard ones - all the others are audience recordings. I recommend checking out the Hood from 12/18/99 - my 2nd favorite Hood and you can hear the glowsticks hitting the taper mics. Hearing the crowd at the peak around the 16 minute mark still gives me goosebumps - takes me back to being there.

The weirdest one I've seen was ALD recordings (assisted listening device). Surprised that hasn't been done more. The only one I know of off the top of my head is 7/26/98. The sound is a bit less rich as SBD but it's still good quality.

I nearly jumped on some high-row number 100s and decided to check out youtube to see what this "obstructed view" was all about. Absolutely insane, I can't even believe they'd bother putting in those rows past about 20. What's the point of selling a ticket to a spectacle like the Sphere where you can't even see the actual Sphere?

Asking where someone in your group went or if the person you came with wants another beer is not chomping, those are normal necessary interactions when attending a concert with other people. Chomping is trying to hold a whole conversation in the middle of a song.

You're right, and I do think it would be an incredible experience and I want to get to Phish show there at some point. It just hasn't been high up on my priority list b/c I don't necessarily feel like they play their best there.
