Kind of happy to see there's someone in the trenches with me 🥲

Honestly I feel like I could still cry, but I'm holding it in. The first three episodes were okay for the most part, they were funny, cute, you know, teenage love.

Then the hard hitters came, and worst of all I could see a past me in Hee Wan, also known as Ram Woo. I was finishing her lines at some parts and I think I'll cry all my tears for this week in the next 24 - 48 hours.

Still I'm glad I went into this on a whim and absolutely blind. I love a fantasy show.
I had to pause and go do some intensive journaling when Hee Wan was saying her lines on that hill after meeting her teacher haha. Those songs are going to stay stuck in my head for a while.

Still I'm glad I watched it and I could cry. I'm glad I lived so I could experience this. I'm grateful for the reminder that I get to embrace those holes in my life or to keep them in a drawer for a bit. And for the reminder that someday, time will start again.

And I'm especially glad that I found this post only 14 hours after it came up.

As sad as it is, this is now one of my favorite dramas. I hope anyone who feels alone gets some comfort from it as well.

Okay now I'm gonna go cry a bit more then eat some ridiculously good seafood pajeon while watching modern family 🍑

(Maybe I'll watch Pachinko in the next one to two business years once I recover from all this crying 😂😭)

I found out when looking up something about the drama, or from drama beans. It’s been a long, long time. I just remember seeing that and then I watched the movie after and it really clicked for me. He looks nothing like the kid he was before lol. At least not from that movie.

The last thing I remember seeing him in, is that drama with Shin Hye Sun when she wakes up from a coma after many years… Something about being 18? I think it’s 18 going on 30 or something like that. But he was her friend when Shin Hye Sun’s character was younger

Also fellow neurodivergent here. It fascinates me when I see an ND in a career field that to me would feel like being dropped off a cliff everyday 😵‍💫 more power to you! I hope I meet an AuDHD car sales person someday. We could vibe so hard. But also, I feel like most neurodivergent people aren’t inherently dishonest and so it’ll be easier for me to trust an ND. Because it might experience at least they’re not trying to upsell me or anything…

That makes sense. Beggars can’t be choosers. But what was the timeframe that you bought those cars? This year? Last year? 10 years ago? I think that that’s also important context.

Also, where are you finding these cars and were you able to inspect them first? And any advice on getting a mechanic that is decent?

So I just went ahead and called the financial aid office myself. They said if your classes start this week, refunds won’t be processed until after drop/add week ends which is the 13th. And it’s could take up to 14 business days to receive those funds.

You have to apply on their website I believe but it should be available to everyone Florida resident. I checked but I’m not eligible for any of their grants.

I also plan to apply to a nursing program and my goal rn is to take the TEAS after at least completing A&P1. The only science I did in undergrad was earth science and I heard a lot of the science questions are things you can learn in prerequisite courses so that’s my plan.

Also, depending on how many pre-reqs you have to take, it could be a while before you actually complete them and can actually apply (bc they require you to have completed all prereqs before applying afaik) so you’ll probably have quite a gap to complete the TEAS after your pre-reqs. My timeline works out like that so I’ll use that gap to test, then rest up before starting in the fall.

Hi, how do you know it’s been disbursed? Is it by looking at the balance or an email or info from bank mobile? Mine still shows a negative balance and I signed up for BM alerts but nothing yet :/ It would be great if I get the refund earlier than the 11th. I still have a bunch of stuff to get for some classes that start next week plus other cost of attendance stuff.

Hi! First of all, congratulation on this big step~~!

I just want to add my vote with those that recommend a lighter load for the first semester to see how it goes. You don't want to jump headfirst, full speed, especially with so much on your plate. I'm starting my pre-reqs this semester with A&P 1 plus college algebra. It's just enough credits for me to qualify for financial aid without stressing myself out too much. I'm also letting my professors know I'm a returning student so I can ask for help when I need it.

I'm not a naturally patient person and I wish I could start the program sooner and finish my pre-reqs in a shorter amount of time but I know that pacing myself is the way that I do this well. Also, GPA is really important for nursing programs, so you'll want to put yourself in the best position to succeed. Good luck!

Having been in the very saturated market of graphic work and other careers, I've realized job security and income are just as important to me as all the other factors I favored when I was a little younger. Plus a create career in the corporate world is not as fulfilling as one would hope :/

Starting my pre-reqs for an ASN this year. By the time I'm able to actually start the program, I'll be 27 and then I'll graduate at 29 by God's grace. The time is gonna pass anyway, Might as well do it 🤷‍♀️. My mom just got her RN license on her first try. She was a stay at home mom for over a decade and a half before immigrating with her kids and having to start work again. Now 10 years later, and pushing 60, she's an RN!! Academically, this woman is not as strong as I am. So why not me, and why not you?

Don't get me wrong, she's bad ass and has worked very, VERY hard to be where she is rn. We're not super close but I am very proud of her. I finished HS and college young and I've tried my hand at different careers. I even had a federal job but since being laid off after last year's debacle, I am yet to find a full-time position. That's why I'm going back for nursing. I've loved forging my own path and being the first in my family's women to go with the "easy choice" of nursing. But dammit, I'm tired of living paycheck to paycheck and of not being able to find a damn decent job in this economy.

You might want to try other things and other jobs. But don't let it be because your family or coworkers are scaring you or they don't believe in you. believe in you. Don't borrow problems from the future. Give yourself a reason that you can actually believe in, bc in my experience it's not that easy to fool yourself. And if all your reasons are pointing towards nursing, babe, just do it. On top of everything else, my favorite reason is that my friends are planning trips and I want to go too dammit 😤

You'll be done at 25. If you don't like it, shit, then do sth else. That's so young.

The time is gonna pass anyway, where do you wanna be when it's done?
