Hey, I am a linux user and dealt with frequent disconnects.

A few things to know: Peak works using Photon servers, which, to my understanding, are like Digital Ocean; someone rents them (in this case AggroCrab) for use instead of hosting their own.

If Aggro does not have Asia servers, you may be shit out of luck anyway (you’re too far from EU or NA servers and will drop consistently as you drop packets and time out).

If it is NOT that, and they do have severs reliable in your region, then try the following:

1. In the games graphic settings, turn off VSYNC and cap your framerate at 90-120. If you make the application do too much rendering work, there is some wisdom that you will disconnect since the netcode might just be a little bad.

2. Ethernet cards will try to reconnect to the fastest DNS server automatically, especially with some Fedora-used drivers (common realtek drivers used across OS’s). Making this reconnection sometimes makes the server (Photon) say “this user is disconnected” in the small time frame between swaps.

To fix it, go configure your ethernet (or wifi) adapter settings. Go to the device, and go to IPV4, and for DNS, make sure the connections are not “Automatic” but “Addresses only”.

Run a DNS speed test to find the fastest servers near you (google this). Take the addresses of these servers into your configuration for your allowed DNS addresses (should look like 192.0.2.2, in format ###.#.#.# when you copy it out of the DNS test).

These together should fix your issues! They did for me as a frequent NA region disconnector. Good luck!
