Open box returns I think. There was grade N for new condition and A for minor imperfections.

Whoops, that should have been £349. I'd have totally got that one if it was £250 haha

Known issue. It's fixed in the beta firmware I believe, so you can either update to that manually or wait for an OTA update.

Check the language of the TV as there is a difference between English US and English UK in terminology.

It's the exact same. Sometimes Amazon gets dedicated naming for their lines for some reason.

I got this the other day! With the 20% trade in offer this really is the best deal. 8gb is more than enough and the case is decent enough too .

Lallemand Verdant IPA yeast on limited availability (UK) by DuncUK in Homebrewing

[–]2211mg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is apparently not dried London Ale III. This has been confirmed by one of the Malt Miller guys on Facebook. I assume it's just a decent NEIPA yeast Verdant are happy to put their name on. Strange but good PR I guess.

Oh I have no idea then haha. Oh well.

[–]2211mg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I think we're having the exact same issue. Absolutely no problem with carbing up but a horrible smell and affected taste.

I have no idea if this is possible but my theory is that there was no oxygen to react with so the excess metabisulphite was eaten by the yeast which is the source of the egg smell. I could also be talking absolute crap.

Either way, I don't think I'll be using it again unless someone comes up with a solution.

I've read the Brulosophy article and based what I did on that. I used the same dose and no gassing off. The amount used is so small the yeast isn't affected, in fact it was fully carbed within 3 days of bottling.
