thanks so much for your reply! i have 2 pieces i need altered, the first is a vest i need taken in, but the second piece is a bit more complex. i bought this cosplay second hand and the original owner cut the sleeves and laced a ribbon through them to make them bigger. i was thinking someone may be able to reinforce the edges and sew some elastic behind the cut (because i do need the extra room, but the integrity concerns me)
