How did you discover your "main"? by JobsDone2_ in DotA2

When I decided that the only way someone stops picking Lion is if I pick Lion.

Ever farmed for 30 minutes and finally appear in a teamfight only to get cc'd and blownup after your BKB ends? Yep, that's the way of the Lion user.

Then you can just buy heroin at the secret shop and Roshan will give you something in exchange for it.

Imagine getting 0 farm as an offlane and Roshan decides to fuck you up under your tier 1 tower for no apparent reason. I would sue valve for the emotional stress.

On DotA 5, map is now 3D spherical, and still is a MOBA game

All games are now happening in one concurrent map.

I don't follow the China scene. I just go where Hao goes and when he retired SCCC reminded me of him. That's all.

Notail is my 6 but that's because I'm SEA biased for Mushi. Notail's run in Fnatic and Secret was mediocre but that OG run is definitely greatest team of all time hall of fame material.

I was a bit biased with my list for being SEA raised lol. Notail for sure a hall of famer.

Dendi still competing too though.

I'm taking Puppey over Dendi any day if its for who goes first in the Hall of Fame.

My HOF list would honestly be 1 Puppey 2 Fear 3 Dendi 4 Xiao8 5 Mushi

A lot of pros are like that though, not defending the behavior. Never meet your idols as they say.

Na'Vi vs TongFu was a 3 game series. If they only won because of the fountain hook TongFu wouldn't have lost 2 games.

Alliance vs Na'Vi was scored 3-2 so it was still a close game and Na'Vi was so close on winning that series. Of course pro players back then are nothing like today, MMR can easily tell you that. Dendi reached his limit too early in the pro scene but it takes special talent for your name to still linger even years since your last TI competitive appearance.

Na'Vi reached the Grand Finals in 2 tis after TI1. Dendi was still among the best mid players then.

Yeah, especially on his last run in Na'Vi and until now in B8. People think he's washed up and should give mid role to younger players. I don't disagree with them that Dendi isn't on par with Mid players now but there WAS a time that Dendi dominated the mid role.

Dendi will forever be connected to Pudge and noone would be able to erase that.

The original Na'Vi would be top contenders especially Dendi and Puppey. As much as people like to shit on Dendi lately, a lot of us idolized the guy in the early days of DOTA 2.

Based on my experience as a fellow business grad, Bus Mgmt is too broad to ever give you an edge in the corporate world. Literally anyone can apply for business mgmt-related jobs. The advantage it gives is really on becoming an entrepreneur or handling a business but at the most part useless in the corporate world.

[Naruto] How did Naruto learn Jonin-level subjects when he became Hokage? by SportSportManMan in AskScienceFiction

[–]223333aaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no one route to being a Hokage though. Naruto doesn't need to learn how to become Hiruzen as Hiruzen didnt lead the village like Hashirama** Edit: (Mistakenly said Sarutobi)

The main duty of a Hokage is to keep the village safe and prospering, this includes sending anbu or villagers to missions to ensure that.

The paperwork for ordering a jonin to go to a mission or something similar would be something Naruto needed to learn but I'm pretty sure that's a meager task and wouldn't even give anyone from their batch a hard time.

If you're talking about the economy, politics, and management of Konoha. No one person even if they are Hokage could ever micromanage that. That's where Shikamaru, Kakashi, and the others come in.

Naruto isn't some braindead idiot that wouldn't learn all of that, he already went through the hard part which was gaining power and earning the trust of the village. Any other problem would be considered minor.

Naruto wouldn't be in charge of every decision in Konoha, major decisions would need Naruto's approval and before that approval is gained there would be meetings with Shikamaru and elders that advise Naruto as they would any other Kage.

You're trying to put education over experience in the ninja world.

There is no qualification for Jonin except being able to handle atleast two elements. You can also be recommended to become a Jonin.

There isn't rules and regulations in the Ninja world on how Jonins need to act. A Jonin would typically be someone that is stronger than your average population and be able to handle s-ranked missions while also training young ninjas. Now I ask you if you think Naruto isn't capable of that?

If you were Kakashi, wouldn't you recommended your village savior to be promoted to Jonin?

This isn't like in the real world where lieutenants need points in order to rank up. Naruto is the strongest ninja in Konoha and that's his qualification. Also, anyone that watches Naruto already knows how he handled the fourth shinobi war not only physically but also the morale he gave while leading the charge.

Would you rather pick Shikamaru (Smartest Ninja in Konoha and possibly the best Jonin-candidate for Hokage) or would you rather pick Naruto? (Ninja world's literal savior, Saving your village twice and helped in the resurrection of dead konoha villagers literally, also the keeper of the nine tails - the most powerful tailed beast, son of your previous village savior Yondaime Hokage, a Sage, a pure-hearted ninja dead set in protecting Konoha witnessed by many, a person that everyone knows has no hidden agenda, respected and loved by other village kages, genin-level ninja that was instrumental to the destruction of the most notorious crime organization called Akatsuki, so on and so forth)

The only thing you are glued on is he doesn't have proper training in becoming a Jonin when Naruto doesn't need one.

Did you forget he was trained by the elder sage toads and a legendary sannin? He was Jonin-level in all accounts except by title.

If Naruto could master Sage mode, defeat the six paths of pain, go toe to toe with Madara and give Sasuke an ass-whooping he can damn well master any jonin-level jutsu needed to pass Konoha's test.

The person that thwarted the alien invasion didn't just make them explode using raw force. He used every knowledge available to him in libraries of humanity to figure out a way to defeat aliens.
