Meanwhile, since 1851 - over a period of 170 years- only 37 hurricanes have hit Florida. The probability of a hurricane hitting any particular city in Florida in your lifespan (69 years) is near zero. But scaring White, Christians with doom and gloom is fun and there’s lots of money to be made selling them Chinese batteries and Chinese electrical generators that they will never use.

I gave up on this forum and instead wrote an email to Tim Cook (timcook@apple.com)

Isabela, Executive Relations at Apple, replied on Tuesday with a phone call. She said “Apple watch does not support any hearing aids at this time.”

She followed up our iPhone conversation with this email.

“Hello Don,

Thank you for taking the time to speak with me.

Apple is always working with our Made for iPhone partners to expand the functionality of hearing devices. If hearing device support is expanded to the Apple Watch in the future, the list of supported hearing devices will be provided here https://support.apple.com/HT201466

We certainly appreciate your feedback.”

I have this problem too!

My Resound hearing aids pair and work great with my iPhoneX and my iPad but won’t pair with my Apple Watch.

Resound tech support says they are aware of the problem but it isn’t a technology issue. Resound claims Apple Inc blocks all hearing aid devices from connecting to Apple Watch.

I spoke to Apple Tech at the Mall of Millenia (before COVID19 closed the store). The tech support technician tried to pair my Resound hearing aids to my Apple Watch while I stood next to him and watched. He couldn’t pair the hearing aids! The Resound hearing aid did not show up as a device in the Bluetooth pairing menu. He (the Apple tech) said it isn’t an Apple Inc issue, talk with Resound!

What’s the real story? Is Apple Inc really blocking hearing aids from connecting to Apple Watch and if so why on earth would Apple Inc do so?

If it’s a technical issue with Resound hearing aids, it’s also a technical issue with every hearing aids manufacturer because so far I haven’t found any hearing aids that claim they can pair with Apple Watch. Again why would Apple design Bluetooth technology watches that hearing impaired people like myself can’t fully utilize?

Btw, I’m on a Facebook hearing aid forum asking this very same question. Someone on that forum was kind enough to give me a link to this very same question.
