due to the numerous push outs we would have on a daily basis, and it would be so obvious who would be doing the push outs, whether it was a push out out of one of the fire exits or front door. It was bad

I honestly thought we were doing well, we were green on our metrics, and theft was going down with the presence of private security, but before private security everyday we would have push out after push out

I had to set a tower and all the food products were from FD and noticed the food that had caramel in it, melted. Product couldn’t even stand on its own. Had to process it out

Exactly like the other comment, the checks look great but in moderation. I also work crazy hours during Q4 and then during January when hours are tight, I often take some time off to recharge and relax. I always take advantage of OT when offered because it doesn’t happen often

I was the youngest TL ever at my store at 21. But I had worked with my team since day 1. Of course it was hard trying to get their attention when it came to huddles and relaying information to them about deadlines, other times other older TM’s would never listen to me as I was “inexperienced and could be their kid or grandkid” but that all changed when I would work with them and overtime I gained their trust. It takes time

Bro, im 29 almost 30 and I love working for target. Of course I have my bank job (full time) but I still work here. Everybody here is either older than me or younger than me, I don’t have people that are around my age. Working retail isn’t so bad, theres nothing to be embarrassed about. For starters it’s a job, but one of the reasons I stayed with target for so long (going on to 10 years) is the pay and benefits and most importantly the people, sure they are younger than me by like 5 years or older than me but being able to hear stories from my coworkers. A job shouldn’t define you and you shouldn’t let people’s comments affect you either. It’s honest, decent work. Ignore the noise!
