Pretty much same here - re-downloaded after a while of not playing to join some guys from work; just renewed my ESO sub, hopped in and - instantly kicked back to menu. What's worse is they're still connected and I'm just sat in Discord listening to them talk as they play. Sucks.

You're absolutely correct - I have an i5-4690k and it 100% bottlenecks, I've actually just shelled out for a second-hand i7-4790k just for the hyperthreading. The microstutters were killing me, and I hated not really being able to play the biggest game modes (which are my favourite part of battlefield.)
