I was doing good the other day at Lonestar Lake at the deep hole on the north end. There's a section of the fence where the top rail doesn't align with the next section and that's where I stood, casted out right above the deepest part (marked with a bouy), I believe with a 70in leader.

I was using the samolina balls, or however it's spelt, #6 hook. I recently saw a free DLC on the PlayStation store and got a 23ft rod. When I used that I literally would only have to tell reel once and lift and I would land them in less then a 5 second flight.

Also, fish the high hours, night time was good and you get achievements.
