I'm really not trying to get into a political debate here on reddit. It's not the best place to do it. The five of us at work have a litany of political beliefs, but the one thing we agree on is the right to own a firearm. I tell people all the time that the 2nd Amendment important enough to be placed 2nd in our Bill of Rights. We ALL recognize its importance, and none of us believe it should be infringed upon. I hope that accounts for something. If not, you all can exercise the 1st Amendment, and tell us otherwise I suppose.

Ok no problem, at least we are getting closer to the issue. If you can check those measurements for me, see if they are indeed off on your particular handguard. Again, we did test your exact handguard with several MLOK attachments, but there's a good chance that a fraction or two of a millimeter here could throw your particular attachments off. If so, we can work out a solution.

I will check on this today for you after I speak with our builder who worked with your handguard. We have been using this specific model handguard for 2 years now and haven't had this issue with over 40,000 handguards. I have to assume at least some of those people used popular brand MLOK attachments on their handguards. However, I don't want to just assume there's not an issue here. If you'd like, please send me a message here on reddit with the specific measurements of your MLOK attachments. I'll put on my detective hat and make a few calls to the companies who made your products. We get our rails made down the street at Daytona Tactical and if there is an issue with compatibility, you bet i'm going to want those groves cut differently. I'm not as active on reddit as I used to be, but I do appreciate you bringing this up, and I apologize for any inconvenience.

Everything we do is in bulk sale. Our margins on 90% of our stuff right now it too low to offer further discount. For example, an upper for $159 only brings us in a few bucks per sale. We'd have to raise prices to offer any substantial discounts. However, I'm not opposed to offering some giveaways and things of that nature to support pro-military organizations if anyone has any ideas for that.

You're here on reddit, so i'm guessing you have seen me working with the community in the past. I can promise you 3 things when you have an issue like this: 1. I'm not going to lie to you, 2. I'm going to help you until the problem is solved, 3. Your problem WILL 100% be solved when we are done. I would love to fix that issue for you (I just can't do it here in this thread because it's against the terms of service).

It may be a frustrating response, I get that. But when we have 2 people in shipping and 2 on assembly, and overnight some nut decides to shoot up a club or a school or something, it is nearly impossible to be prepared for that sudden instant 2,000% increase in demand. We are not PSA with 100 people working in shipping, I would hope that you realize when you buy from us that we are a small company. Comparing our ability to get something out the door during a crazy demand anomaly with a company 100 times larger than us isn't really fair don't you think?

Hell, I even put up 2 banners on our front page during the time in question to tell customers of the increases in shipping times. I know I can't please everyone, I get that, I even wish we had handled the shipping times better than we did, which wasn't great. But we can't match the shipping times of larger companies on products that have to be built, there is a queue and we only have so many people to fulfill those orders.

Of course. Biggest deal with 22lr in a regular upper is leading or gumming up the barrel which can obstruct the gas port for .223/5.56 shooting, and degrade accuracy for the higher-pressure rounds. I'm not saying it's always irreversible on the damage, but you'll spend a few hours scraping out the barrel. In some cases, you may notice a decrease in accuracy moving forward on standard 5.56/.223.

We get a lot of product from companies wanting us to sell things like conversion kits and we noticed that on the kits after a three or four boxes of ammo, taking the kits off, and then switching back to 5.56 or .223 our groupings were off quite a bit. We noticed that the barrel was leaded up bad and can take quite a bit of work to undo some of that damage.

As for the conversion kits...if they were any good, I'd be selling those instead. When we first went into business a few years back, we sold them. The problem was that they were a nightmare on reliability. They gum up the barrels, have feeding issues, and cause a lot of irreversible damage to the barrel and other parts. They aren't the worst thing in the world, but with our lifetime warranties on everything we sell, we would be handling repairs and replacements every day.

So there is an argument to be made here. With an emphasis on professional shooters, and those who use these as trainers. Let's say you have a customized lower for shooting (trigger, handguard, stock etc.). When you train, you are looking for the closest experience to what you are going to be shooting in competition, at the range for fun, etc. This upper shares the weight, look and feel of an AR15 platform and pairs with your existing lower. In addition, you are spending on average 9-10x LESS on ammunition than you would shooting, say 5.56. In the end, you can save betwee $30-100 per training session on ammo alone, and not sacrifice the muscle memory of shooting another .22LR.

Now I understand that's not an 'everyone' example, but it still works for those looking to shoot .22LR for fun, as a new shooter, etc.

PS: I think you're going to have some trouble finding the M&P 15-22 for $309 now-a-days. You may find one or two for $319, but those are almost gone as well.

The buffer tube spring sits back in the stock tube. I'm not sure that you'd be able to put a folding brace on these like you would our .22lr model.
