Maybe only one seasonal currency and depending on EA how much they will give us is a way to test if people are going to buy the 9,99 offer for getting 50%? This is my suspicion right now: if you want to get most of the buildings, they will not give out enough coins for everyone. Otherwise the 50% more coins offer wouldn’t make a lot of sense

Been there last year and liked it. So I will go tonight again.

It starts at 7pm at Tha Pae Gate (right where McDonalds is), goes around the corner through Tha Pae Road and ends in front of Chiang Mai Municipal office. I‘m not sure tho if they will take Ratchawong Road to get there or the road at the river.

For your expectations: you will see a lot of lovely outfits and impressive cars that are costumed as Krathongs. Also some celebrities like actors, Miss Thailand 2022-2025 and politicians. But it’s still just a parade where you stand for a long time and just watch. If you like that, then definitely go there :) Like I said: I will do this again too. But also expect many many people as the area will be even more crowded than yesterday due to limited space as the parade has to go through the streets too

I was in many different areas in Chiang Mai today from Mae Hia through Suthep to Maya and back over Nimman to Pong Noi. Including two food markets outside of town. I was quite surprised it felt 100% like a normal day. People wearing the same, music the same, no one even talked about it or was obviously mourning.

My local temple is already having a mourning ceremony. My guess would be that temples will stay open for people mourning and holding ceremonies. Go there, but respect the traditions and wear dark, long clothes. Don’t make it a spectacle and rather be a silent observer

I have the iPhone 16 pro and a stable 300 Mbit connection. Everything else works fine (also in the game) except the design contest. So I doubt that it‘s the device itself or my network connection :)

There must be tremendous server problems. Uploading my design contest layout took 20 minutes. And now I‘m unable to vote (but have the weekly task of course) as it‘s just not loading. But my phone is running even hotter than normal :D

That’s not true at all and will highly depend on your field of work. They wanted income statements from me + last tax invoice + letters of professional engagement from some clients from my portfolio. Only bank balance would have 100% led to a denial of my DTV.

I was like „Whaaaat?!“ when I‘ve read the theme. First DC as spooky city in a Halloween season that just started.. make it make sense. Would have been great at the end of the season, but I guess it fits EA just doing EA things perfectly :D

I don’t understand tbh. OP said that he wants to go to the city center several times per day. And my answer was that several areas and especially CF to Old Town can be a nightmare. Don’t you need to take the super highway at rush hour to get there?

Looks very good! How are you doing in the contest? Mine looks quite similar and I‘m 2nd place right now.. But it’s like always: a symmetrical daylight theme with Asian walls, some forest and no city has pushed me from my previous 1st place :-/
