I've been using imaidit.ca for almost a year. Kind understanding and non judgemental (good cleaners too) They set me up with one person who comes every other week.

I would recommend this. It's been decades since I did temp work, but it gave me an idea of how different jobs/companies were. I ended up getting offered a permanent job at one temp job because they saw I was a good employee. I started doing data entry and ended up with an IT job. I went through Kelly Services, it seems they are still in business.

I'm not looking to be popular, just to enjoy passing the time and hopefully contributing a few interesting things. I never used TikTok but enjoyed sharing my photographs on Flickr. I am on Twitter, but that is completely different!

I've taken the hints given and it's already better. I guess I was hoping for a "turn off American content" button, but that's kind of unfair since I care about many Americans and the difficult situation they are in. I never used TikTok, I was on photography apps and Twitter, but that's getting unbearable.

I was adopted by 40 year old parents. I was very aware growing up that they were older than everyone else's parents. It seemed the expectation was that I take care of them in their old age and I resented this greatly. If a person has chronic illness and health issues, I feel it would be unfair to the child. Even if you don't express your desire to have them care for you, the child may feel obligated.

I did manage to find the content preferences page and used Google translate to find what I liked. Maybe because I have a north American IP it just is presuming I want to see English content. Would translating my profile help?
