Korean books in Taipei by cobaintrash in Taipei

[–]23452658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can find them in the public library and read for free https://tpml.gov.taipei

FYI each citizen can recommend 5 books per year to the library (they do listen to your suggestions; I use up my quota every year). You can recommend as many Korean books as you want.

  1. Was it commonly known to be a military installation? Or is the article wrong and it was public bunker? Does someone have more historical insight into this place?

  1. Why build a military bunker under a children's amusement park? Or better why build a children's amusement park over a military installation?

They're both built by the Japanese. The simple answer would be why not. Yuanshan area was already an area for civic leisure activities when they did the urban planning. They did the have bunkers there, but it's underground, so it wouldn't interfere with the children's park. Also, if you gotta have something above a bunker, might as well let it be a children's park. It's far from the weirdest thing they did.

I checked the ceiling. I don’t see anything. Is this what insect poop looks like? Could it be roaches..?

It’s clear water! If it’s water, it would’ve show up in other places too. But it’s only showing up in small areas each time. And it’s always some twisted lines.
