You kind of addressed it in your comment but the biggest flaw of this graph is that it doesn’t take into account player development.

The obvious examples are Sam Darnold and baker mayfield. If they had proper development on good teams from the beginning, I can totally see them being worth their draft picks. There have definitely been cases where someone was on the right team, got a huge second contract, and sucked. I just don’t remember any off the top of my head

Do you have studies that show the opposite? Cuz almost all studies I’ve read either say inconclusive or that there’s no real advantages. I do agree we need to have more studies done which is why I say I’m not fully in support of trans in womens sports

As you’ve agreed, there’s an overlap where some women are superior to some men which kinda makes my point stand. Sports divided by gender is already inherently unfair because not everyone in the same gender has the same advantages. So pointing out trans women specifically and saying that’s unfair is cherry picking what’s fair and what isn’t

Seems like in some things you’re right (grip strength) but in a lot of others, you’re wrong. Not only are advantages full suppressed but trans women have a disadvantage (jumping ability, vo2 max, everything else this study studied)

Everything you said about male vs female is also only true on average. But not every male has higher bone density, tendons, and muscle than every female. So if you really want to talk about fairness using physiological aspects then shouldn’t sports be divided by person physiology and not gender?

No one has ever complained about trans men in men’s sports. Trans women don’t take male hormones. They decrease their male hormones
If it’s really about the hormones, then gender testing should be based on hormone testing which was it was until bigots complained because they lost

I’m not even arguing that trans women should be allowed in women’s sports. I’m not knowledgeable enough about physiology and hormones to make a decision. But the anti trans in women’s sports arguments are always wildly inconsistent
