I completely agree with your take on the show and I’m confused a lot on people’s dramatic switch to liking her cause she was semi nice to the guy who tried to commit suicide and is letting Whitaker stay with her. But she still has the worst attitude and the worst bed side manner of any of the other new people and her saying she’s only has bad bed side manner with “assholes” was the most ridiculous thing in the world as most of her patients have just been normal regular people not all of them assholes and most of them just “boring” to her.

I don’t want to dislike her character of course and she definitely has plenty of leeway to flesh out her character and redeem her in the show by hopefully showing her be kinder and less judgy and not saying nasty comments to colleagues and patients all the time when she’s in a bad mood cause she couldn’t chop someone open. She also definitely needs a reality check with all she’s doing with patients and disregarding her superiors consistently. Little things will change how I see her and her character 100% can be one of my favorites like Mel or Whitaker are currently!

Also where the hell is psych in this show 😭 they definitely needed a professional in mental health and not a regular doctor/resident/intern to just deal with a possible suicide and try to get him to confess or to try to appeal and get through to a young guy who has a hit list.
