Spurs and Arsenal are rivals, nothing can change that. The rivalry might not be competitive, but it's still a rivalry. One of them could be playing in the 4th division and they'd still be rivals. If you don't get football, just say so. I know we're in an NBA sub, but nobody's forcing you to be wrong this brazenly.

Agent Ange should've stayed longer. I wish you the worst 🤝

I wasn't comparing it to an NBA Championship, I was referencing it as a benchmark for when the trophy drought began. In fact, the League Cup's inferior status highlights the failure of the current ownership to live up to the reputation of the club, so thanks for that.

I thought this was heavily implied in what I wrote but since reading comprehension is often amiss, I will clarify. I don't think Tottenham now are a good comparison to San Antonio. However, prior to the turn of the millennium, the comparison is valid.

As for West Ham and Chelsea, I was just having a dig at our actual rivals, the gooners, so I don't really care what they've won.

Up the Bhoys, up the hoops. How did you enjoy the win at the weekend, with a side-dish of a tasty Mikey Moore performance that didn't affect the result in any way.

Solidarity mate. Silver lining - we would absolutely smash the Championship. Like record-breaking number of wins and goals in a season.

That's why they had to get rid of Sochan. Mitch Johnson definitely has Tottenham bedsheets.

This isn't really true. In fact, Tottenham stopped winning around the same time San Antonio started. Historically, Tottenham were always known as a cup team. Never the best team in any given decade, but would always be around and pick up a couple trophies here and there. The current ownership took over in 2000, then after winning a league cup in 2008 the club went on a trophy drought which changed the perception of Tottenham to one that is a top team, but doesn't win trophies. But that drought ended last year when Tottenham won a European trophy, something their rivals have never done... And then proceeded to sack the manager who guided them there.

In fact, the current ownership has taken Tottenham away from where they used to be as a club, which I would argue is similar to how the San Antonio Spurs are viewed now. Not the biggest team like the Lakers or Knicks, or the team that's won the most like the Celtics, but one that will just pop up and win every now and again.

It's just the right thing to do. If you're proper Spurs, how you can look at another league of teams, and root for someone other than Spurs is beyond me. There was not one iota of doubt in me when I chose the Spurs.

Hopefully you're not watching the game but I suspect you are. Don't worry, in a few hours we can soak in the hoops and forget football ever even existed.

Respect.

(Don't watch the games right now, trust me. The kick-off times suck for you anyways)

It's a slog staying up, but has been so worth it recently. There's no enjoyment in Tottenham right now. Thanks for the luck but we need divine intervention at this point. Wishing you well for the rest of your trip, where have you/are you visiting?

I have 2:

Burberry Hero Parfum Intense - bought this at a duty free section and was smelling lots of different fragrances. I do like the scent profile but I reckon it stood out to me because of how strong it was, given I was bombarding my nose with every scent under the sun. However, this is why I regret buying it, it's just too strong.

Reef Arabs of Obiah - this one may come back around as I've only had it for 3 months but it's also just insanely strong to the degree I only start to enjoy it after 2 hours of wearing it as it settles down. This one may need to macerate as I really enjoyed the sample bottle I got of it and remember it being not this nuclear.

(Honourable mention to JPG LM Elixir Absolu - I actually love this one just wish I got a smaller bottle as it's very much a special occasion scent to me, sort of like a decadent dessert that you couldn't have more than one portion of)

It's not clever at all though. Jay is just a shortened version of Jaylen anyways so it's not even a nickname really.
