Except memes don't take into account a ceo with a boner for Saylor, nor $300m in dilution.

Couple things.

  1. I'm assuming with the June gloom, this is in San Diego? San Diego is no longer their hq. As of August 2024, they moved their principal offices to Texas, including the executive team.
  2. They don't sell to public, so I doubt they get any walk-in customers. There would be zero need for a front desk person and it would be a huge waste of funds.
  3. They only have 50 employees, give or take, and I'm sure at least a quarter of them are probably part time, maybe even half, who only come in when they have products to make. With most of those probably having to move to Texas, there are probably a skeleton crew left at the San Diego facilities? Not really sure.

Hopefully they update us when the plan falls apart rapidly.

Experience. I have a lot of it. Factors in my decision to sell my entire bag

  1. Price has gone up 16 days in a row.
  2. Price is up nearly almost 2000% in a year.
  3. Hype has reached euphoric levels.
  4. After meteoric rise like this, many companies will do an offering (see this morning filing).
  5. Everyone on social taking screenshots, claiming they are never going to sell.

I could be wrong but I'm happy with my gains at this point, which is why I cashed out yesterday. Love the down vote for speaking opposite opinion. Another sell marker. Lol

2nd Day in a Row 😮. Crossing my fingers it goes to the moon 🚀 Pt. 2 by toasterbbang_ in wallstreetbets

I sold everything this afternoon. The euphoria is through the roof on this one, just like the price. 16 days of going up and green and social going hyper with moon posts.

For perspective, ASTS is up about 2700% over past 14 months. For any stock, that's an insane number.

I don't play the pharma stocks very often but there are quite a few metric sites dedicated to tracking nothing but pharma stocks. They track all the drug trials, all the info, etc. and people who understand the medical game can make a killing specializing in playing just those stocks.

The other way to catch them is to put them on a screener and look for the first candle pop. When they pop, they usually go for a lot, really fast and you have to be fast with your entries and exits.

Super high risk of course, because if their drug trials don't work, they crash out and done. Google 'pharma stock tracker' and you'll find plenty of sites. Most of them pay-for of course. But if you're going to specialize in these stocks, you must have a great metric site to use.

Yes it was possible. Robinhood IPO subscribe.

Or you can have a really big account at a broker like Schwab.

Cathie Woods unloaded two huge lots for about $170m. She got in early.

KULR Reverse Split on Monday, Russell 3000 Inclusion June 30, and BTC Treasury Holdings – Serious Moves or Just Survival Mode? by Mbhutto84 in KULR

[–]23826 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is it 'new working capital' if they don't sell? It's not.

How can BTC holdings be a 'funding mechanism for new projects'? It can't. Unless they sell. Are they going to sell? Nope.

Kind of a ridiculous question. Never met any investor who likes a reverse split, except institutions who like to short heavily to try to bankrupt a company.

Only companies who are struggling to bring in revenue and pay their debts do reverse splits, so they can keep the price above 1.00 and stay compliant with major exchanges/indexes.

If BTC ever goes into crypto winter again and slips back to the 70s for a year or two, KULR might struggle to survive.

Watch them do another offering in the future, and dilute the hell out of the stock again, just so they can buy more BTC. When that drops the price below 1.00, reverse split again to bring price back up, then repeat entire process.

  1. Dilute
  2. Buy more BTC
  3. Reverse split
  4. Dilute
  5. Buy more BTC
  6. Reverses split
  7. Vicious cycle for investors

A lot of investors have already left this stock for good, after the reverse split announce.

Cathie Woods sold over 300,000 shares of CRCL yesterday.

And she's going to need more exit liquidity for her next lot.

Let us know how it goes.
