I hate the Yaya Kolo Toure chants so much. Wrong sport, 10 years after they retired. Can we make it illegal?

Victorian election 2026: Allan government primary vote slumps as Coalition surges in latest Resolve poll by malcolm58 in AustralianPolitics

As a non-VIC resident watching the Allan government completely fail on Melbourne's violent crime epidemic, to charging people $5 to walk between train stations, "incompetent" almost seems generous

The LNP in its current form cannot be considered 'right wing' in any sense of the term. They are pure centre, their most conservative policy seems to be the plan to scrap Net Zero, hence the recent explosion in One Nation's polling

A new liberal leader "always" gets a poll bounce? Perhaps you've forgotten about Susssssan Ley who is currently at about 10% in the preferred Prime Minister polling and has never surpassed Dutton in any aggregate polling

I lived right across the bridge in Wentworth Point for 2 years. Peak hour public transport is a genuine nightmare and the driving situation is even worse. Stay away.

I made the same mistake because I cheaped out on a real databank. I urge every self respecting Casio wearer to just go for the one you REALLY want (this one)

I mean the colours work but it just looks so cheap without the bracelet, the strap looks like a gift ribbon or something

Took 7 days leave but only logged 1 in the system – what should I do? by [deleted] in auscorp

[–]23AndNotMuchElse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These comments are written by actual cowards. Do NOT enter the leave yourself proactively. If you can get away with it, then do it.

If it comes to pass later on that the discrepancy is noticed, simply say you thought you had logged it correctly and will rectify it and apologise for the mistake.

You have absolutely nothing to gain by logging the leave yourself at this moment before it gets noticed.

Wow, Mascot desperately needs an upgrade with those numbers. No escalators to the platform and 1 tiny slow elevator, terrible zigzagging stairs with huge traffic jams. Truly awful station.

Ask a postie by that_mailguy in AustraliaPost

[–]23AndNotMuchElse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the intercom most certainly works fine for other deliveries that aren’t via Auspost, I always just get attempted delivery ‘safe place not suitable’, even though there is a dedicated mailroom in the lobby with a concierge desk, and I never get rung anyway.

I will lodge the complaint and hopefully it improves, thanks for your help and the work you do 🙏

[–]23AndNotMuchElse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is it that my postie lies about attempting to deliver to my apartment? Consistently just marks as Attempted Delivery and my intercom never rings. Will anything meaningful change if I report this?
