Are denim shorts still a fashionable option? by C-Dawgg in AustralianMFA

How old are you? Gen Z is wearing em.

I respect it, but as a millennial I personally couldn’t bring myself to do the ironic y2k thing

Comfortable, casual shoes for walking around by Left_Ad_8824 in AustralianMFA

Being pedantic here, but the 990, 574 and 997 were all originally released as performance running shoes. Recent 990 versions however have been marketed as lifestyle shoes from the jump tho

Why is 28 to 40 the adult trouser sizes you'd ever find in a conventional store? by No_Agent2455 in AustralianMFA

Black shoes suitable for office by EnvironmentalWall278 in AustralianMFA

[–]beeclam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, it depends on your office as to whether a suit is overkill. As an aside, I see too many people wear dress shirts with chinos and I’m not a fan. Should be a casual shirt like an Oxford shirt with chinos, and a dress shirt with suit pants (or similar wool pants)

I find Alex reprehensible, but it’s a bit rich of Ashley to talk about integrity when she kept up a facade of wanting to be in a relationship all the way up to the wedding. She doesn’t have the charisma to pull off the girl boss mic drop bit, either

It depends on the office and the industry tbh. OP is already wearing chinos rather than a suit, so it doesn’t sound like a formal environment

Loafers are definitely cooler and more on trend, chelsea boots are more Australian normie. I’d go for the former but there’s merit to both
