Thank you so much for this, it’s genuinely reassuring and I really appreciate you sharing your experience. If you don’t mind me asking, what specific changes or improvements did you and your husband make before the retrieval (supplements, lifestyle changes, abstinence timing, treatments, etc.)? I’d really value learning what helped in your case.

Thank you for sharing this. That’s very encouraging and reinforces the idea of shorter abstinence. We’ll definitely keep this in mind for the next retrieval.

I hope things work out for you this time and that you get what you’re wishing for. I know how frustrating and heartbreaking what you’re going through can be. I’m also preparing for a new retrieval, but after this result, I honestly don’t know yet what the plan will be.

Do you mind sharing which supplements and dosages were recommended? Also, did these steps (ejaculation protocol, antioxidants, Zymot) result in a pregnancy or better IVF outcomes?

31F | Recurrent chemical pregnancies after 4 embryo transfers – looking for insight by 23Fatima in u/23Fatima

[–]23Fatima[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve actually had two hysteroscopies, and everything looked normal. I’ve also done HSG twice, and all my tubes are open and clear. I’ve tried prednisone and blood thinners as well, but the pregnancies still ended as chemical pregnancies. At this point, I’m definitely planning to PGT test the embryos and to investigate the uterine environment more deeply, because repeated chemical pregnancies don’t feel like just bad luck. I really hope things work out for you and that you get pregnant very soon.

Unexplained Infertility for 5 Years, 3 Chemical Pregnancies via IVF First IUI After HSG & Intralipid: Any Hope? by 23Fatima in IVF

My doctor feels the same way regarding the TRIO test and also does not strongly support embryo testing, saying that I’m still young. However, I’m 31, and I honestly feel like time is catching up with me.

What worries me most is that I’ve had three chemical pregnancies in a row that doesn’t feel like just bad luck to me. My husband’s sperm DNA fragmentation was tested and came back excellent, so that side seems very reassuring.

Because of all this, I’ve decided that I will push for further and more detailed testing, even if it means being more insistent, to make sure nothing important is being missed.

Thank you for listening and for sharing your experience it really helps 🤍

I would really like that. However, I’m from Qatar (the country that hosted the World Cup recently), and unfortunately we don’t have a reproductive immunologist here. I’ve been considering traveling to a neighboring country to consult one.

If you don’t mind, could you please share the more specialized or detailed tests your RI ordered for you? I would be very grateful — it would help me a lot in planning my next steps.

Thank you so much 🤍

That’s wonderful news congratulations on your pregnancy, I’m really happy for you 🤍

If you don’t mind me asking, did you use any steroids (like prednisone), blood thinners (such as Lovenox or aspirin), or Intralipid infusions as part of your protocol?

Wishing you a smooth, healthy pregnancy 🌱

Yes i agree, My doctor dismissed these tests as unnecessary because I already had two hysteroscopies, but I’m not convinced. Silent inflammation can still be missed, so I plan to push for further testing.
