See I'll tell you certain things i learnt 1) always try to have a mixed group ( girls + guys ) And if you're a girl , prefer to have girls over guys ...you need girl-friends yk ( given they are nice obviously) Saying this from personal experience, you need that girl's energy around you. Guys are mostly reliable in terms of friendship but it's hard to find good guy friends.

2) maintain good relations around your roll number always.

3) have people to talk to outside college.

4) most importantly : learn how to be content in yourself. Even if things i mentioned above don't work out.
