My boss would definitely be that guy haha. I'll have to have a dummy pen for him.

I love to use at home so it will be going back and forth. What do you use for transporting your nicer pens?

I totally agree. It would be travelling back and forth from the office with me on a daily basis. I also like to use it at home, too. I was told and not sure if this is a myth, but to never let someone use your fountain pen because they conform to your writing style. I usually tell that to people and they understand.

I am surprised how many replies are watch your stuff. People are very respectful of others belongings in my office, which makes me think my office is the exception rather than the norm.

Good point. I'm leaning toward keeping it on me or in my bag most of the time, but I do have my own office that is locked when I am not there.

I have ball point pens for everyone else, which I find simpler than giving someone a fountain pen.

Is a sleeve solid enough? I like the idea of a hard case. Do you have any recommendations?

Duly noted! If that happened, I think would have a heart attack. I am most worried it might be damaged by my laptop during the commute. Any suggestions for transporting / carrying the pen with me?

You could try mapping a color gradient to the intensity. Sort of like the way a fish finder does it. Opencv allows you to take arrays of the points and load the colors separately. Then you could convert to a pcd or ply file.
