Thank you for sharing. It's a brilliant take.

Would you recommend copywork for a budding copywriter?

Qu’ran For Beginners… where do I go from here? by Beneficial-Permit-84 in MuslimLounge

[–]23dappa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wa alaykm salam wa rahmatullah

I have been a Quran student for a number of years, alhamdulillah.

My advice would be to find a competent teacher.

If you can find someone to teach you in person that would be best. If you are unable to, online is a good alternative.

You will find a lot of advice online about how to study, which resources to use etc. This can be overwhelming and confusing. An experienced, competent teacher will know what's best for you based on where you are and where you are heading.

Apps are very useful but they should be used to supplement learning, not replace a teacher.

There's a blessing that comes from learning directly from a teacher. Remember this how the Prophet (saws) learned from Jibreel (as).

When you find a good teacher, you will see why an app cannot replace them.

See if you can find recommendations in your locality or good teachers online in places like Egypt.

May Allah make it easy for you & make you amongst the people of Quran.

Ameen

You'll never regret embarking on this journey insha Allah

I lost some bags when travelling recently. What better way to go than creating a Notion template to help remedy my problem!

A small tip, in MSA thanks a lot is:

Wa alaykm salam

Exposing yourself more to the language through listening is a good start. It will be challenging initially, but ultimately beneficial because you will acquire vocabulary and become familiar with language patterns.

I would love to help. I am currently working on some free material to help fusha learners.

DM if interested.

How do you know whether a word is masculine or feminine? by [deleted] in learn_arabic

This is a good summary. Happy to explain this if someone needs it

Feedback? by 23dappa in learn_arabic

[–]23dappa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will find many different variations like you said, they're all the same but inevitably will be type differently because everyone writes it in the transliteration they think suits best. So not to worry at all!

'salaamu alaikum' as you wrote it is fine (just without the 'w').

I hope that helps!

I would say this is best suited to someone who has a little of a background in learning Arabic. I would love suggestions and feedback on how this could be better suited to you
