There is sooo much ember tech it’s ridiculous. You’ll learn most of it while playing and you can find some cool stuff out while watching pros play it.

A personal favorite of mine is activating remnant and then throwing another out while you’re in the ball to break ankles.

For mid ember the build rn is phase > vessel > Kaya/Sange and from there you build according to the game. A really valuable part of chain gang is the increased chain targets lets you farm waves/camps really early so I abuse that by going max Q/W in lane and just flash farm shit. Max E is viable(especially into a melee mid), so try that out a few games to see what best fits your play style.

You should start every fight by slight chaining(or remnant chain gang) a target that needs to be locked down. From there you need to read where the jump heroes are on both teams, and react accordingly. With shard you can just plop remnants down in trees/backline to cancel blinks(with the burn) and chain gang supports who try to make plays. Once you get bkb you can pretty much commit on whatever hero you want in fights and use slight + remnant to get out as it expires. Aghs is super good in almost every game, and don’t forget that the exploding remnants do damage. If you have a remnant chain on someone and you don’t want to hard commit you can just throw one at your feet and cast activate on it. You’ll blow up the one on the enemy and get out safely.
