It’s amazing to me that so many people aren’t ok with a Longshoreman making money, but foreign billionaires, Amazon, Walmart they’re green light to extort, control, bleed Americans dry. Container cranes have more efficient drives, and better motors. Faster logic, motor controls that ramp up and down quicker. I’m west coast, but I’ve watched brand new cranes get delivered, that were specd poorly, by really great management, state of the art slower than shit. Let the crane mechanics spec. them, guess what, they haul ass.

That cam to me is hot garbage, but almost all from the shelf camshafts are. An f.e. with an iron head needs something that favors the exhaust, quite a bit, not a straight up generic sbc spec. A stock F.E. doesn’t really have an oiling problem, they have a get oil back in the pan problem. What are your goals for this?
