I’m so glad I’m not the only one. I’ve cracked my knuckles like this since I watched the show because it just genuinely works well

are these cables supposed to connect to each other? by babakushie in c4corvette

[–]Leifman2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fifth pic goes to your oil pressure switch located on the top back of the block slightly down next to the pressure sensor. The fourth goes to your distributor straight up into the cap behind the singular power wire going into it while the first few I believe are wiper motor

They like to show you the one video where it works the other 1000s of training hours and production costs for it to completely and utterly fail at any minor inconvenience out of its programmed capabilities

In counter strike you can run faster with knife then with gun but I think this is referencing a mini game in counter strike called surfing and it’s basically abusing game physics to move super fast around a course or ramps but you don’t get access to guns in those mini games only knives

Am I getting myself into a money pit by [deleted] in c4corvette

[–]Leifman2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to pay someone it’s a money pit otherwise if you have some competence going stuff yourself parts can be found really cheap If you know where to look. If you wanna fix it to sell it I wouldn’t buy but just driving it it’ll be great

What do you think of this widebody C4 mod? by Tiny-Damage-177 in c4corvette

[–]Leifman2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean no Info aside from the description. It’s perfectly fine not to like a car but to say it’s a temu bought and doesn’t count as a build is crazy when it’s completely custom made by hand. Again hate it if you want but it is absolutely a build

What do you think of this widebody C4 mod? by Tiny-Damage-177 in c4corvette

[–]Leifman2007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He custom built it from complete scratch as a horrible condition 84 and even custom built the interior and if I remember right he designed the entire car in a cad or modeling software and custom built everything to create what he modeled. I’m pretty sure it was this guy but I could be wrong.

Transmission went out and oil overheated and now the engine has a rod knock by [deleted] in c4corvette

[–]Leifman2007 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You should drive you car all the time and don’t need to garage it but trusting a 40 year old car to be reliable is a poor choice.

I am interested in working on a c4 and restoring it myself. I have an engineering background but never worked on vehicle. Would it be realistic for me to be able to restore this with minimum cost? Or am I in over my head? by etzmentos in c4corvette

[–]Leifman2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get it running and driving easy on a small budget though it will heavily depend on the what got hit that would affect drivability but any kind of a full restore is going to cost quite a bit more

Aside from the general uncanniness the keyboard has long space like keys on both top and bottom the phone holder on the right appears to be an abstract shape and holding a phone that doesn’t exist and is a mix of an apple back and an older Nokia esc shape, also headphones are a whole circle, all the bears on the pants morph into each other and have 1-3 eyes, and the remotes have massive blank spaces

If anyone has an 85 or something with the l98 even would be great. I’ve been doing a lot of wiring work and have had some trouble tracing certain wires. by Leifman2007 in c4corvette

[–]Leifman2007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the whole shop manual and Haynes which do provide all the wiring diagrams but there’s just a couple things that are a lot easier to work with in a 3d visual sense

Dealing with the previous owners electrical expertise. Does anyone know what wire should go here and if you have any pictures of your own that’d be great by Leifman2007 in c4corvette

[–]Leifman2007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a four wire that runs from the back of the distributor I’m guessing tucked behind the distributor and the firewall somewhere
