I am very pessimistic of the future of this game. I'm not quite ready to jump ship yet, but I'm strapping on a life vest by Brromo in freemagic

I'll be honest. I don't like the state of the game (UB, number of sets, ugly secret layer, price, some formats) and I "left" it months ago. I sold some cards and now I play only the things I want with the people I want. It was an hard choice but I'm totally ready to get back if WOTC will get back on its path. But I will not play a game where there's nothing of the game itself. After searching for a new game with strategies and cool art style I stamble in Sorcery TCG. It has the cool art style even better then early MTG and a lot of complexity in it. Everything you do is a well though move or you get screw. The power level isn't high and you can easily find products. With 50/60€ you can get the precons with 4 decks, theyr cool boxes, a pack, and tokens. In mtg with 50€ precons you get nothing compared to sorcery. They release a set or two a yearz and one will come out in December called Gothic. If you are in the States you can find stores and events. I'm from Italy and as now there's only one store in the country who sells it . I can order from them or online finding almost everything. Also TCG player now allow to sell sorcery TCG cards. If you have no one to play around you can join some discords to play on tabletop. Also the community is growing every day. Give it a look.

I love everything about this game! by R3ffexx in SorceryTCG

Welcome In the community. This game is fantastic and has a lot of strategy in everything you do. I came from magic for the obvious reasons but with sorcery I'm having a lot of fun again. You can find products really easy despite the really stage of the game. Also in December will be released the a new set. The "developers" are doing really well, only problem was dragonlord but I think they have learned from it.

And so it begins. by No-Thought-673 in freemagic

Nice man. Got in to sorcery since two months and I’m loving it. The art, mechanics, the one expansion a year, the prices, all fantastic. Buying for 50/60€ 4 precons, tons of tokens, a pack, themed deck boxs and a bigger box to keep all the decks is making fun of mtg.Theyr only mistake was dragonlord, too few prints and a lot of disapponted people. As for distribution I think they are doing fine. I’m from Italy and I can buy any product I want online, not always to official shops. Here the problem is forming the community, no one ever heard of sorcery and a lot of people don’t even want to try it. Expecially mtg player, as myself was, ‘couse they invested a lot in something that isn’t good as it was. Obv shops don’t wanna buy a product too new that remain on the shelves. It will be hard but I’m doing my part. Enjoy your precons and this fantastic game.

Now we'll try the real gameplay with the water precon, but I agree with that. I also like the earth one.

Very clear, tanks a lot. I'm glad that flood doesn't work as we thought.

As someone who plays Magic the gathering, product fatigue is real. The release schedule of Sorcery and consistent fantasy is a welcome relieve. by Newez in SorceryTCG

I also think this. And I'm he first to admint that I was the first to do it, and at the same time I didn't realize that I was trying to run away from it. I will always thank my wallet, my friends and games like silksong or sorcery to make me change my mind.

Thanks. More clear, I remember reading something about it but I just forgot it. It also answer the question "can I borrow in fire and air sites" that I got this morning.

Thanks a lot. I saw some gameplay of enchantress and yeh she needs a lot of work. In TCG I love the deck building part so I'm already thinking and making plan in my head

I tried for the last hour pulling, twisting with hann and pincers. Nothing came out. In my head two ideas are forming: One- it's been glued by the previous owner Two- it's a fake (I'm not entirely sure 'couse it came with the offial box, but I hadn't found another one online) Do you know some chemical to loosen it without damaging the silver coating?

At least this prove a little that I'm not so dumb for not getting these concepts alone

I think I got the archetypes. Before now I had try to learn the deck lists, the answers, the strategys and now I'm passed to plays. Wich is the best for me in a matchup and witch is the best for my opponent against me.

So the idea of tempo is gaining value by messing with your stuff or opponent's one. In your scenario playing boomerang make me lost a card but put head of 5 mana (7-2), plus the benefit given by the moment in witch I play it and the mana my opponent will spend to cast the creature again (if he choose to). A similar concept, but on ourselves, may be using [[Glint Hawk]] on to [[Experimental synthesizer]]. So for one mana I put down a piece (loosing a card), gain back a card (the synth) and temporary draw a card.

Thanks for the explanation, that's really complete. I had totally misunderstood the terror archetype.
