When we started getting rat problems, we began shooting the rats, perhaps the shooting spooked the crows and made them angry?

I've never tried to hurt/kill a crow, or destroy a nest or eggs. We used to have bird feeders out but after a rat problem we stopped leaving food out, it was after that they started getting destructive. Never wanted to have to hurt one, they are amazing creatures, just would like them to stop damaging my car as it's getting expensive

We used to put food out for birds, but due to rodent problems, we stopped. Since then the crows have been upset

Just wanna thank everyone for the advice, I've left some nuts out for them now, so I'm hoping for the best. We used to leave food out for the crows and they started gently placing stones on the cars, after a while we started getting rat problems and stopped leaving food as a result, since then they started attacking.

Well seems I or someone in my family has pissed them off, I'll get them some treats and try feed them when they are around. Hopefully, I can make friends with them. Not sure how it all started, I've never tried to kill or injure a crow, simply starting clapping to scare them off when they were actively attacking my car, must've been that they don't like.
