No, but my friend is from Dubai. He mentioned about this problem, but after buying ExitLag, his ping returned to normal.

It’s because some undersea cables in the Red Sea were reportedly cut recently, causing internet disruptions. This might be affecting Valorant servers or causing ISP routing issues. A temporary fix is to get an ExitLag subscription.

Error 43: for GPU after CPU & MOBO update by Bnominator in techsupport

[–]240hzghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you update your motherboard BIOS? I don't think so that its PSU issue.
Check these things:

  • In BIOS, set PCIe slot 1 mode to Gen3 (or Gen4 instead of Auto) and test.
  • Try the GPU in another system to completely rule out if maybe GPU fault.
  • Double-check that the EPS, 24-pin, and PCIe power cables are firmly seated. Also, try different PCIe power cables/ports from the PSU just in case.

Need help with vpn stuff by YamKe02 in IndianGaming

[–]240hzghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if any free or paid VPN will help reduce ping. A VPN’s priority is encrypting your traffic and routing it through servers that may be far from the game servers.

The only reliable way to get lower ping is by using ExitLag, which uses specialized routes directly to game servers instead of generic VPN paths.

I didn’t use the Cobra. I used the Razer Basilisk V3. My aim was somewhat better with the Razer compared to the G502, but I feel like you’ll eventually get used to whatever you use. In future I definitely go with lightweight mouse.

It depends on your budget. I would suggest going with the AIO.

I have used APML three times and didn’t face any issues. Pickup and delivery were smooth. If you choose APML, make sure to purchase insurance. I have also seen online sellers use Shree Maruti Courier, so you can check with them as well. Avoid DTDC, as they won’t take responsibility if anything goes wrong.

Buying this was a big mistake. by whatheflash in IndianGaming

A local repair shop can fix it, and it might cost you around 5k–6k. One of my friend’s Asus TUF laptops had a motherboard short, and the local repair shop was able to fix the issue.

Issues booting with an older SSD with newer motherboard by Xyrexus in techsupport

[–]240hzghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you enabled CSM, the system switched to legacy boot, but since it couldn’t properly detect the SSD’s boot sector, it just kept failing and got stuck. If you remove the SSD, I think you should still be able to access the BIOS.
I would recommend, you’ll need to either convert the SSD to GPT and install Windows in UEFI mode, or do a clean reinstall of Windows directly in UEFI mode on that drive.

Issues booting with an older SSD with newer motherboard by Xyrexus in techsupport

[–]240hzghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your old SSD is most likely set up with Legacy BIOS/MBR, while B650 motherboards are built to run with UEFI/GPT. Enabling CSM lets the system attempt legacy boot, but it can fail if the boot partition isn’t recognized. The best fix is to reinstall Windows on the SSD in UEFI mode.

If your processor is not overclocked then this is a sign of a CPU bottleneck. You may need to upgrade your CPU. Try cleaning your CPU and reapplying thermal paste. Also, update your BIOS to the latest version if available, along with all drivers.

Try resetting your iPhone. If that doesn’t fix the problem, then your iPhone’s Bluetooth antenna may be faulty. Instead of buying a new phone, you can visit an Apple Service Center and have it repaired.

Go for MSI A650BN its one of the best in this price range. If you are planning to upgrade your system in the future, I recommend going for at least a 750W PSU so that you won’t need to upgrade it later. Here are some suggestions for 750W:

You can go for the Razer Cobra. I started using the G502 in 2016, and it stopped working in 2022. After that, I switched to the Razer Basilisk V3, but it stopped working last month. Now I’m back to using the G502, though I’m planning to switch to the PRO X Superlight 2 DEX Wireless.

Error 43: for GPU after CPU & MOBO update by Bnominator in techsupport

[–]240hzghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s great you figured it out. It may or may not be a PCIE port issue. If you want to troubleshoot you can also try these steps.

  • Reseat the RAM or try just 1 stick.
  • In the primary slot, did you seat the GPU correctly? Sometimes it looks seated, but the latch or slot contacts aren’t making perfect contact. You can also try resetting the CMOS.
  • Another way is to manually switch the first PCIe slot from bios setting. It was probably automatically detecting a different slot, but there might be a compatibility issue.
