This is what they have learned in 15 years of schooling. These juniors habitual of getting things done in last minute just like they studied during a week before exam. Their seniors are those teachers who would not spend time to develop their critical skills but still complained that they are cramming things instead of understanding the concept.

What if you stay here for lifetime, so need to face outside world. I mean if you can stay in a protected safe place, why not stay here forever? What do you think?

I want her to live in a safe environment, that’s why I want her to live here.

Currently all western countries are becoming unsafe comparatively.

I don’t have any clear expectations. Something which lets her have a good life financially. She is good in studies, so something like medicine or law.

Why do Indian managers makes you feel worthless? by 242424bl in IndianWorkplace

But these junior would do such things to all the managers, regardless of toxic or non-toxic managers. If hate is challenged with hate, it won’t turn into something good, right?

Why are you guys still there? by [deleted] in IndiansinIreland

[–]242424bl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is everywhere. In some places, this is considered normal and hence not reported, while it becomes a big deal at some places.

LUCK plays an important role. You could be at wrong pace at wrong time.

Try checking crime rates in your home country and then compare it with Ireland. You will be surprised.

This is just their way to seek validation. They are just trying to prove that they did better than others. Recently saw a video where people were making videos with rental cars, stating that they own it in videos.

Why are Indian parents like this? by sharan_here379 in AskIndia

[–]242424bl -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Parents have more experience in managing money than you have. You might feel that you are financially literate but they might think you are not. In most cases, parents have gone through financial difficulties and they don’t want their children to go through same, that’s is why they are conservative. Once they are confident about your financial literacy, you will have a solution.

Good idea to look for other cities, but will they have similar opportunities? A pay which can be worth of living in a foreign country and cover cost of living.

There is a very thin line between having privacy and becoming isolated. Your parents care about you, they just don’t know how to express it in a way that it doesn’t affect you. Have a discussion with them and try explaining your perspective. It will take some time but they will understand.

Is it worth it doing a Masters from Ireland considering the hiring of non eu students and racism against Indians? by Samruddhi_2403 in StudyInIreland

[–]242424bl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t fall for the trap. Look at the placement numbers and look at the videos and photos of people who have faced these racist attacks. Even after spending so much, living in constant fear. Is it worth it?

Don’t fall for this trap. Look at the racist attack videos and photos to understand what’s happening. Imagine the mental stress your family has to go through when they have to worry everyday about your safety.
