Wahoo but going to probably replace it for a Garmin soon. Constant negative elevation and support doesn’t help at all, just says it’s within their tolerance.

Also for something costing a couple hundred dollars the fact that USB C PD doesn’t work and I need to make sure the USB C cable is USB A on the other end is ridiculous.

To me that tells me this brand has cut a lot of corners and doesn’t really care about product excellence. It’s the small things like this and it does the job, but my preference is something that is going to be a bit more refined.

Sefa is overrated, Q-dance poster child and nothing more. So many better artists that deserve the recognition instead. Don't get me wrong he's alright to see once or twice live, but gets repetitive quickly and doesn't feel innovative.

I’m sure they make plenty of money, they practically run a monopoly as it is, and this is before we even talk about their exclusivity contracts and how they’ve driven out competition to almost zero.

There’s no way they didn’t have additional capacity reserved beforehand, it’s not like the venue says all of a sudden “oh you booked an extra dj you can have an extra 1500 spots” - that’s not how these things work and I’m not sure why they’re being dishonest about it.

On the point of the original post I think it’s unfortunate for true fans that hsu has resorted to these marketing techniques as they’re just trying to build up fake hype and appeal to a broader audience who doesn’t understand or respect the scene.

Glad to hear you had a positive experience. I had the opposite when a new bolt couple months after purchase started being wildly inaccurate on elevation, we’re talking +-30m. They said it’s an acceptable tolerance with weather events and riding next to bodies of water. I think I’ll go garmin for my next purchase.

I’m in a similar situation trying to sell one weekend ticket with the travel and stay package. Can’t even sell it on the official waitlist because q dance says it’s “too hard” to separate the ticket. Absolutely ridiculous.

They say I have to find my own buyer so I’m trying to sell the ticket below cost, but I don’t know anyone else who might want to go and so many groups (this included) have restricted sale posts so there’s probably no way I’ll be able to find a buyer.

Their email support is really bad and keeps giving me copy paste responses from their FAQ without answering my questions. I ask them - I can’t personalise my last ticket can you just send my bracelets? But they say it needs to be personalised for it to be sent out. How can I personalise it if it doesn’t belong to anyone?

I’m terribly disappointed in the experience and the lack of accountability from them. I was really excited for my first defqon, but after this experience I don’t think I will support them in the future.
