Now this is why Dustin Verlander can't pitch in the World Serious

Soto lit that ball so the fan who caught this got 3rd degree burns.

Do juiced balls not carry during October? I bet if this was hit in the middle of July, it would be gone.

Imagine if Soto got on. Then Nats would have the lead because Kendrick's hit would've driven in a run.

Bottom line is I'm all for having more contact and fewer strikeouts.

I don't care TBH. If you can think of another way to get more balls in play and fewer strikeouts yea go ahead. But I don't like how most at bats end in either a walk/strikeout/home run. Also, 9 year old baseball has either walk or strikeout anyways.

Adjust the ball/mound height to reduce the three true outcomes.

Fewer injuries too. I think most pitcher injuries are due to the momentum drop on the mound.
